WORKSHOP - THE FOUND FOOTAGE FILM

In an age where the cultural landscape is dominated by images, what could be more relevant than selecting previously-shot footage and re-cutting it to create new meanings? This three-session workshop will serve as a conceptual and practical introduction to the Found Footage Film. In the first session, you will be introduced to this fascinating genre, and then you will be given time to create your own short film by editing found footage in sessions two and three. At the end of our sessions, we’ll screen the works and discuss the cuts you’ve made.  All materials are included!
