2012 PRODUCTION FUND

The Cineworks Production Fund was established in 1998 to encourage excellence and innovation in
filmmaking. It is made possible with the generous support of the National Film Board of Canada and
Cineworks Independent Filmmakers Society. Over 50 films have received support from the Fund over the
years.

Cineworks is looking for applicants who can demonstrate that the Fund will make a SIGNIFICANT
contribution to the realization of their project. Eg. One week in the Avid suite for a feature length film
will probably do little towards moving the project forward; however, four weeks may allow someone to
achieve a rough cut, which would be a significant contribution.

Applicants should only apply for expenses that fit into one of the following categories:

LIST OF ELIGIBLE EXPENSES:
Rental of Cineworks Production Equipment (use Production member rates)
Rental of Cineworks facilities, including Studio (use Production member rates)
S8 - HD Transfers
Use of Cineworks Annex equipment and facilities
Use of Cineworks projection equipment
