
Jessica Bradford
Jessica Bradford is a Vancouver based filmmaker and graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Director’s Lab. She has written and directed several short films all of which have won awards, including the NSI Drama Prize film, When I Was Seven… (Gemini for Best Short, Golden Sheaf and several Leos), The Telescope (Kickstart) and Winter Sun (CFC). Jessica grew up in Cambridge, England and attended Vancouver Film School’s full time film programme in 1992. She wrote, directed and co-produced her first film in 1996, the feature film The Restlessness of Water, then went on to produce Julia Kwan’s short film, 10,000 Delusions, before working as an Assistant to the Executive Producers on local television series. She has served on the Board of Cineworks for 5 years, 3 of them as President and is a member of Women in Film and Video Vancouver the ACCT and Praxis.
