
Ken Hegan
Based in Vancouver, Ken Hegan is a filmmaker and journalist who has written for Rolling Stone, GQ, Toro, and the Globe & Mail. Ken has written/directed episodes and segments of 10 TV programs for the Comedy Network, CTV, Life, Discovery, and CBC. The host of the Celluloid Social Club, Ken’s short films as writer/director include REMISSION IMPOSSIBLE, WILLIAM SHATNER LENT ME HIS HAIRPIECE (AN UNTRUE STORY), GOOD TIMES: VOL. 1, REVOLV-A-DATE, and FARLEY MOWAT ATE MY BROTHER. Ken has won/scammed 25+ awards for his writing and direction, including two Gemini nominations for writing and directing comedy, and three National Magazine Awards for Best Humour Article.
Following a mishap during laser eye surgery, Ken discovered he could kill people with a single glance. He now uses this power for good, entertaining children at carnivals and theme parks throughout Latin America.
