Neil Maclean

Neil Maclean is a Vancouver filmmaker having graduated from VFS in 2001. He has directed several shorts and worked on others' shorts and features. Neil has completed Neil Learns to Swim, a short documentary about a 30-year-old learning to swim then attempting to swim across English Bay from Kits Beach to Sunset Beach; L'Artiste, a short involving a French dogme filmmaker; and am finishing a documentary about six local artists who are graduates from Emily Carr. He is also a some-time journalist and traveller and big fan of Cineworks' bolex rex.
